 October 2010                                  "How to Write a Research Report – A Sell Side Perspective" webcast (students watch on own)

                                                       "How to Write a Research Report – A Buy Side Perspective" webcast (students watch on own)

October 30, 2010                              University contacts submission deadline

Early November 2010                        2 Ethic panel webcasts (students watch on own; one is CFAI is mandatory to compete)

November 30, 2010                           University teams of 3-5 must be selected

Early December 2010                       Target Company Announced and Mentors Assigned to Teams

Early January 2011                          Teams submit questions for company to CFA Houston & DFW who forward them on to company

Mid January 2011                             Company Presentation - Location & Time - to be announced

February 4, 2011                               Final reports submitted to CFA Houston / CFA DFW for evaluation by graders

February 14, 2011                            The five finalist teams are announced by 9:00 AM

February 19, 2011                             Final oral presentation occurs at TIPS - Location will be Rice University

April 7, 2011                                     North/South American Finals in Omaha, Nebraska

April 8, 2011                                     Global finals in Hong Kong in Omaha, Nebraska
